Naming Ceremony
Welcome To The World
Naming Ceremony
Being a mother (and a grandmother), I cannot think of a time that is more special than the welcoming of a little one
into the world!
Welcome to the World is the celebration of a new life, and the introduction of that child into your community (be it a few friends, family, or the whole village!).
Let’s come together to welcome, celebrate and appreciate a child, and perhaps to acknowledge your beliefs around the meaning of this new life.
You may wish to tell your story (or have it told) and speak of your values you wish to exemplify as you nurture your baby towards adulthood. If other children are involved, you may wish to celebrate their individual strengths that you are proud
that they will share with their new brother or sister or cousin. Similarly, other support people could be appreciated for the qualities they exemplify. You may like to ask for support or understanding as new parents or appreciate the assistance you’ve
been given. It could be serious or seriously funny, but you and your special circle of support will be fully engaged emotionally, in a truly bespoke ceremony.
Whether you know what you want, or want lots of ideas, together we can create and deliver a happy, engaging, meaningful and memorable celebration that is uniquely about your child. I can create it myself if you prefer, but it will always be about your
baby, your story and with your approval.
I understand (and still remember) that parents are often very tired and busy at this stage of life. I would love to meet with you, take you for a coffee at your convenience, (or even meet in your laundry or at your clothesline, if need be) to start planning this happy occasion.
Valued at $450, which includes:
Two meetings. A meeting to collaborate and learn about you and your child’s story and the ceremony you would like. The finalised ceremony and script will be with your approval.
